Do you want to work close to real customer delivery and help make business-critical network services work in practice?

As Senior Implementation Engineer at GlobalConnect, you will be part of the team that prepares and implements the logical network setup behind our customer services. Your work will help ensure that B2B customers receive reliable services on time, with clean handovers and successful activations.

What you need to succeed

  • CCNP or an equivalent certification from another relevant vendor.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience from network implementation, provisioning, or network engineering.
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, Layer 2 services, VPN, pseudowire, switching, and basic Layer 1 / fibre hardware functionality.
  • Experience with hands-on implementation, troubleshooting, and maintaining complex network infrastructure.
  • Danish and English language skills. Danish is needed for communication with field technicians, while English is used in internal and technical communication.

About the role and the team

You will join our local Implementation team in Copenhagen, currently consisting of approximately 13 colleagues. The team works with the logical part of customer network delivery before field installation and service activation.

The team receives cases from Delivery Specialists and prepares them so the next part of the delivery chain can move forward without missing information. You will work closely with Design, field technicians, contractors, internal technicians, and customers.

This is a senior role. We are looking for someone who already has a solid technical foundation and can take ownership, work independently, and become fully operational within the first six months.

What you’ll be working on

  • Implement the logical part of customer network services before field installation and activation.
  • Build and prepare services in internal systems so cases can move forward in the delivery process.
  • Ensure that customer delivery requirements from the contract are fulfilled.
  • Prepare clean orders for field technicians, contractors, and internal technicians.
  • Coordinate with customers during service windows and service activation.
  • Support service activation when technicians are on-site and need confirmation that customer equipment is visible and ready.
  • Track assigned cases, manage progress, and raise risks early when delivery may be delayed.

You enjoy working with both technical detail and practical delivery. You are motivated by getting cases completed, seeing customer services go live, and knowing that your work has a direct impact on the customer experience.

You communicate clearly with different audiences, whether you are speaking with a customer, a field technician, or an internal technical team. You know when to ask for help, when to help others, and when to escalate an issue before it becomes a delivery problem.

You are comfortable working in an environment with several systems, spreadsheets, and handover points. You bring structure, ownership, and a practical problem-solving mindset.

Practical information

This role is an on-site role in our office in Copenhagen and you and the team will meet in the office every day.

The role also requires security clearance. To be eligible for security clearance in Denmark you need to have work at the last 7 years in an EU or NATO country.
