As a Senior Implementation Consultant in Avalara's Professional Services organization, you will serve as a subject matter expert leading the delivery of large, complex, and high-visibility enterprise implementations for Avalara’s Excise platforms (AvaTax for Energy, Returns for Energy, AvaTax for Tobacco and Returns for Tobacco).
You will own the technical architecture and tax determination strategy for multi-jurisdiction, high-volume energy distributors, suppliers, and terminal operators. In addition to customer delivery, you will serve as a technical escalation lead, drive practice-wide standards, collaborate with external implementation partners, and mentor consultants across the team.

Colorado $88,000-$140,800 [annually]
Washington $88,000-$155,700 [annually]
California $88,000-$170,300 [annually]
NYC $97,100-$170,300 [annually]
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual salary/wage may be based on various factors, such as geographic location, candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business consideration
This role is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance, depending on the terms of the applicable plan and the employee’s role.
