For one of our clients, we are looking for a
Senior ICT Security Analyst.
As a Senior ICT Security Analyst you are responsible for the alignment of IT security with
business security, and to ensure that information security is effectively
managed and adhered to, within the entire organization, while taking
into account the IT policy, in order to protect the infrastructure,
data confidentiality and integrity, and to ensure availability of the
organization’s data, IT services and the entire IT infrastructure.
You will
protect
the
infrastructure, including (but not limited to)
hardware and software, from unauthorized users, devices and activities, in
accordance with the IT policies and from own expertise and best practices.
Tasks

Keep up to date with the latest security and technology developments

Setup and maintain LAN/ WAN infrastructure security together with the ICT
System Administrator and Network Engineer

Implement security monitoring and protection tools, for the protection of
information/data, in close
cooperation with the ICT System Administrator and Network Engineer
-
Monitor for attacks, intrusions and unusual, unauthorized and/or illegal
activity
-
Investigate and identify (suspected or present) security breaches and/or
vulnerabilities in the IT infrastructure
-
Regular testing of the internal network for weaknesses
-
Propose and implement security improvements and enhancements
-
Act as escalation point for information security issues
-
Manage
user authorization
-
Monitor and review user access and instruct users where necessary
-
Manage
the security profiles
-
Reports Produce security exception reports, in accordance with the
guidelines, in order to protect information security
-
Produce security exception reports
-
Maintain information risk monitoring reports
-
Report and document security breaches and vulnerabilities, and their
solutions
-
Assure overall IT security awareness by all end-users of IT network and infrastructure.
Direct training for the staff based on the agreed upon frequency to support the
information security policies

Provide information and drive awareness of IT security, and the associated
IT policies, within the organization

Develop and implement security awareness training for the staff, together
with the training specialist, using the online learning platform

Ensure that the IT staff is aware of and adheres to the information
security policies
-
Assist in the developing, documenting and updating of the information
security policies and procedures, in order to comply with the external
regulatory standards and best practices

Lead and/or participate in projects, and if necessary perform reviews,
from ICT security expertise, while taking into account the frameworks of
the task, in consultation with IT management, in order to provide substantive
contribution to the objective of the projects
