Senior BPM Developer
to join a dynamic technology team focused on delivering enterprise-grade workflow automation and process orchestration solutions.

This role is ideal for an experienced professional with deep expertise in
IBM BPM / BAW
and/or
Camunda 7/8
, combined with strong Java development capabilities and a passion for process optimisation, automation, and modern event-driven architectures.

You will play a key role in designing, developing, deploying, and optimizing intelligent business workflows that drive operational efficiency and digital transformation within a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Design, develop, configure, and deploy enterprise workflow solutions using
  IBM BPM / BAW
  or
  Camunda 7/8
• 
  Develop BPMN and DMN models for business process orchestration and decision automation
• 
  Build scalable microservices and APIs using
  Java 11+
  ,
  Spring Boot
  , and RESTful services
• 
  Integrate workflow solutions with enterprise applications, Kafka/Confluent event streams, and custom user interfaces
• 
  Implement external task workers, orchestration patterns, and automated workflow handling
• 
  Monitor workflow performance, troubleshoot incidents, and optimize process execution
• 
  Analyse business processes to identify automation opportunities and efficiency improvements
• 
  Support AI-enabled workflow optimization and intelligent process automation initiatives
• 
  Collaborate with business analysts, architects, developers, and stakeholders to design robust technical solutions
• 
  Drive CI/CD best practices using Git and Azure DevOps pipelines
• 
  Perform functional, integration, and performance testing across workflow applications
• 
  Provide mentorship, technical leadership, and guidance to junior and intermediate developers

Requirements

Experience

• 
  5+ years’ practical experience in:
  • 
    Business process analysis
  • 
    Workflow automation and orchestration
  • 
    IBM BPM / BAW or Camunda implementations
• 
  5+ years’ software development experience using:
  • 
    Java
  • 
    Spring Boot
  • 
    REST APIs
  • 
    Microservices architecture
• 
  Hands-on delivery experience with:

    BPMN/DMN modelling
  • 
    Workflow deployment and monitoring
  • 
    Incident handling

  Experience integrating workflows with custom UI applications
