In this dynamic environment, we are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Senior IBM BAW Engineer to join our Cloud Platforms team in Athens.
Implement enterprise-level, tailor-made multi-tier applications using IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW)
Work closely and efficiently with the project team across various roles, including software engineers, quality assurance engineers, DevOps engineers, business analysts, and the project manager
Implement integration with third-party applications and data sources through IBM BAW REST APIs, web services, and integration services
Design, implement, andmaintainbusiness process models using IBM BAW, including BPDs (Business Process Definitions), case management solutions, and BPMN-compliant workflows
Collaborate with business analysts to translate business requirements into executable workflows within the IBM BAW Process Designer and Workflow Center
Develop custom coaches, coach views, service flows, integration services, and Java-based components within the IBM BAW environment
Monitor andoptimizeprocess performance using IBM BAW Process Admin Console and Performance Data Warehouse, ensuring scalability and maintainability of BAW solutions
Ensure proper versioning, snapshot management, deployment, and documentation of BAW artifacts across development, test, and production environments
What you bring matters
Bachelor orMaster'sdegree in IT Engineering, Computer Science, AppliedSciencesor related discipline.
Proven experience as a Senior Engineer with IBM BAW / IBM BPM (8.5.7, 18.x, 19.x, or later versions).
Strong knowledge of BPMN 2.0, process modeling, and case management
Hands-on experience with JavaScript, Java, XML, JSON, REST/SOAP web services
Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server, DB2, and related IBM middleware
Familiarity with IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation is a plus
Strong understanding of CI/CD practices for BAW deployments
Be familiar with Azure DevOps platform or other Version Control Systems (i.e.GitHub, GitLab), Project/Task Management Systems (i.e.Jira), Maven
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills
Ability to draft technical documentation andhavinganalytical skills to design algorithms
Ability and willingness to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Ability to express ideas verbally and in writing, in a clear,conciseand professional manner (both in English & in Greek)
