The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture seeks suitable Nigerian nationals for the position below at the Institute’s Headquarters in Ibadan.

Position: Senior Hygiene Technician

Contract: 2-years renewable contract

Location: Ibadan

Closing Date: 14 July 2026

DUTIES:

  • Maintain and report on the stocks of cleaning supplies.
  • Maintain and monitor the cleanliness of the offices, classrooms and student bathrooms.
  • Maintain a high standard within the hygiene technicians, including rotations and standards of work.
  • Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

QUALIFICATION:

National Diploma with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.

COMPETENCIES:

The ideal candidate must have:

  • Strong knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, environmental health, and infection prevention standards.
  • Committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene control and quality assurance.
  • Skilled in inspection, monitoring, and reporting of hygiene and sanitation activities.
  • Experienced in supervising cleaning operations while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
