This opportunity will suit a senior consultant who enjoys technical leadership, collaboration and meaningful project ownership within a workplace that genuinely prioritises flexibility, trust and balance.

The Role

In this role, you will:

• Lead the hydraulic design and delivery of projects across a diverse portfolio, including defence
• Take end-to-end ownership of hydraulic design from concept through to construction
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developing engineers
• Coordinate closely with other building services disciplines, architects and external consultants
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients and project stakeholders
• Review designs, documentation and site works to ensure quality, compliance and constructability

You will contribute across a varied project portfolio including health, education, defence, commercial and transport, offering strong project diversity and long-term career stability.

About You

Please note: Australian citizenship is required due to the nature of the projects.

You will bring:

Why You’ll Love Working Here

This is a workplace that genuinely trusts and supports its people. You will be encouraged to do your best work while maintaining flexibility that fits your life.

What you can expect:

• A hybrid working model with genuine flexibility around how and where you work
• A supportive, inclusive and collaborative team culture
• Strong technical leadership and knowledge sharing across the business
• Exposure to a broad range of sectors and high-profile projects
• Clear and achievable career progression aligned with your goals
• A strong focus on wellbeing, flexibility and long-term careers

You will be joining a Brisbane Building Services team where people are respected, supported and trusted, and where professional growth does not come at the expense of personal balance.

If you are an experienced hydraulic consultant looking for meaningful projects, supportive leadership and a genuinely flexible workplace, we would love to hear from you.
