The Senior HW Test and Verification Analyst extensively tests and evaluates all Delta IBT products before release to ensure that the products meet design specifications, meet Delta Controls quality standards, and are suitable for their intended applications.

The Senior HW Test and Verification Analyst also participates in defect investigations and provides technical support to other parties as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities

Device Verification and Validation

  • Develops test cases, test procedures and test plans based on product requirements.
  • Performs hands-on embedded device verification testing.
  • Creates associated databases, script files, macros, and other automated testing systems.
  • Designs and builds any necessary test jigs and configures any related simulation equipment.
  • Reports bugs and documents test results.
  • Participates in design reviews and project standups at the request of the Project Manager
  • Provides relevant feedback to members of the Project Team.

Job Requirements

  • Proficient in testing electronic embedded products using a variety of test equipment such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, AC/DC power supplies and power meters.
  • Knowledge of EMC testing as applicable to electronic devices.
  • Excellent understanding of electronics theory and concepts.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of building automation devices and protocols is an asset.
  • Good troubleshooting and solution-finding skills.
  • Customer-centric approach to tasks.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in an electronics related program or equivalent.
  • 4 years of related hands-on experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Python programming would be an asset.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented and systematic.
  • Willingness to learn.

Salary: 65,000 - 85,000 CAD

This range reflects the minimum and maximum target payable for the base salary of new hires across all Canadian locations. Actual compensation may vary outside this range and is dependent on various factors.
