We're looking for a skilled and established Senior Tender Manager to drive high-impact HVDC project tenders in a global and multicultural environment. You'll guide a large, diverse and multifaceted team of professionals by shaping the bid strategy and leading them in compiling high quality tenders through to submission and final negotiations.   • As Senior Tender Manager your task will be to craft our bid strategy for a specific project, ensuring it is implemented and fulfilled, manage our client relations and ultimately that Hitachi Energy’s total offering is consolidated and conveyed.

  • You will be working closely with the business unit Grid Integration’s global sales team and be responsible for managing the entire bid process with the ultimate aim to present Hitachi Energy’s offer to the end client and securing the project based on best competitiveness.

  • You will be leading a tendering team of technical, legal, tax, insurance and commercial experts in digesting and translating client requirements and needs into a competitive overall solution based on the Hitachi Energy portfolio.

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background:

  • Minimum 12+ years of overall professional experience, with 5–10 years of relevant experience in project management for large-scale projects and tenders.

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from a recognized institution

  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams within a high-demand, fast-paced environment, with experience of engaging international business clients

  • Technical and commercial experience with HVDC systems, or similar technologies, is a strong advantage, as the role involves working closely with HVDC projects

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while working in a structured, organized, and methodical manner

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an outgoing and collaborative approach, as the role requires interaction with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders across all organizational levels

  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
