Prime responsibilities and duties

  • Check or approve the Develop the main deliverables relevant to HVAC and issued by mechanical discipline: calculation reports, design criteria, technical specifications, l data sheets, Equipment Schedule, material requisitions and technical bid evaluations.
  • Support the Mechanical Engineers of the various projects in reviewing Vendor documentation relevant to HVAC
  • Perform design calculations of HVAC according to applicable codes in order to define main equipment sizing.
  • Define technical solutions for complex problems.
  • Propose optimization/changes in order to minimize quantity/costs or optimize project schedule.
  • Support Chief Engineers in reviewing Tender documentation and prepare clarification requests during bid phase.
  • Maintain and develop the specific know-how pertaining to HVAC
  • Provide support and guidance to less experienced colleagues
  • Promote transfer of knowledge through mentoring and training

Skills and Qualifications

  • Mechanical Engineering background
  • Deep Knowledge of international codes, standards and best engineering practices for HVAC
  • Deep knowledge of HVAC calculation software
  • Long-standing experience in HVAC Engineering in large EPC off shore and project in Oil & Gas;/Petrochemical/Energy projects
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Bachelor/Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
