Your opportunity
Due to an internal promotion, we now have a 12- month maximum term opportunity. The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) will build trusting relationships with leaders, employees, and colleagues, providing expert HR advice, coaching, and support on all staff-related matters. This is a true generalist role that will proactively contribute to positive cultural change, supporting our leaders in delivering exceptional care to Anglicare's residents and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Coach and support leaders on performance, misconduct, grievances, restructures and workplace matters.
Empower managers to lead high-performing, accountable teams.
Improve HR policies, processes and employee experience initiatives.
Partner with leaders on workforce planning, role design and remuneration reviews.
Support succession planning, talent management and organisational growth.
Analyse workforce data and provide insights to improve retention and engagement.
Conduct exit interviews and drive actions to reduce turnover.
Act as a trusted HR Business Partner to Support Hub leaders and executives.
Lead talent, performance and capability development initiatives.
Collaborate with Organisational Development to deliver people and culture priorities.
Key Skills
Proven ability to plan, execute, and ensure compliance with employment requirements, and leading consultation processes.
Strong change management capabilities with significant experience in designing and delivering change initiatives
Extensive knowledge of current employment laws and regulations regarding people management.
Strong facilitation skills, with the ability to lead training and courageous conversations that build leadership capabilities.
Excellent influencing, negotiation, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels of the organisation.
What you’ll bring
You're a strategic HR Business Partner who guides and empowers managers, drives continuous improvement, collaborates on organizational development, partners with senior leadership and leads talent initiatives to strengthen organizational capability.
You will also need:
Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Management, or related fields.
A track record of successful HR Business Partnering within complex, corporate environment
Broad HR generalist experience across recruitment, performance management, organisational development, talent and succession planning, employee relations, remuneration and benefits, change management, and HRIS reporting.
Proven track record of providing HR advice that leads to tangible actions and positive business outcomes.
Experience leading managers through the people side of change.

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.
We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.
With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.
We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
When it comes to training and research we partner with the very best. Our campus partners, the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI) and The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, along with the RCH Foundation, are on site with the hospital in Parkville. Together, we are committed to improving the health outcomes for children today and in the future.
In 2016–17, more than 85,654 children attended our Emergency Department, 322,291 specialist clinic appointments were held which was almost 70,000 more than the previous year, more than 17,000 surgeries were performed and more than 48,552 children were admitted to our wards.
