Job Description

The Role

An international law firm is looking for one highly capable technical specialist to take end-to-end ownership of its HubSpot and Clio ecosystem.

This is not a conventional CRM administrator position.

We need someone who can combine HubSpot architecture and administration, Clio, advanced automation, API integrations and hands-on development and who is comfortable independently solving technical problems from design through implementation.

What You Will Own

You will be responsible for:

* designing and administering our HubSpot CRM architecture;

* managing Sales, Marketing and Service processes;

* creating pipelines, custom objects, properties, workflows and advanced automations;

* administering and optimizing Clio Manage;

* designing the data relationship between HubSpot contacts/deals and Clio clients/matters;

* building and maintaining HubSpot ↔️ Clio integrations;

* integrating Microsoft 365/Outlook, telephony, websites, forms, payments and other business systems;

* using APIs, webhooks and middleware where native integrations are insufficient;

* writing custom code when required;

* managing data migration, deduplication, governance and quality;

* creating management dashboards and operational reporting;

* managing user permissions and access controls;

* documenting the system and troubleshooting technical problems independently.

Requirements

Technical Requirements

Strong hands-on experience with:

* HubSpot CRM administration and architecture;

* complex HubSpot workflows and automation;

* HubSpot custom objects and associations;

* HubSpot APIs;

* REST APIs;

* webhooks;

* OAuth/API authentication;

* JSON;

* JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Python;

* data integrations and synchronisation;

* CRM data architecture;

* troubleshooting integrations and workflows.

Experience with Clio Manage and/or the Clio API is strongly preferred.

Experience integrating CRM systems with Microsoft 365, telephony, payment systems or other SaaS platforms will be a strong advantage.

Experience with Zapier, Make or similar platforms is useful, but the successful candidate must also be capable of working beyond no-code tools where required.

What We Are Not Looking For

This role is not suitable for someone whose experience is limited to:

* basic HubSpot marketing;

* simple workflows;

* data entry;

* basic CRM administration;

* website editing only;

* no-code automation without API/development capability.

Ideal Profile

You are someone who can receive a business requirement such as:

“When a new international legal enquiry enters HubSpot, automatically classify it, assign it to the correct lawyer, track the consultation and payment, create or update the appropriate client/matter information in Clio, monitor follow-up and report the outcome to management.”

and determine how to design and implement the solution yourself.

You should be comfortable saying:

“I can design this, build it, test it, document it and maintain it.”

Application

Please submit:

* CV;

* LinkedIn profile;

* HubSpot certifications;

* details of your Clio experience;

* examples of CRM integrations you personally built;

* examples of APIs or custom code you personally implemented.

Shortlisted applicants will complete a technical assessment before interview.
