Specific Accountabilities:

  • The Senior HSE Specialist, employed by Worley and seconded to Saudi Aramco, provides embedded HSE leadership and assurance to Aramco project teams. The role ensures full compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, Saudi regulatory requirements, and international HSE best practices. Responsibilities include contractor HSE management, risk assessment and control of high‑risk activities, site inspections and audits, incident investigation and RCA, HSE reporting, and emergency preparedness. The position acts as an HSE advisor to the Aramco PMT, promoting strong safety culture, Life-Saving Rules compliance, and effective hazard management. The role has authority to intervene and stop unsafe work and requires extensive Oil & Gas construction experience and strong knowledge of Saudi Aramco HSE systems.
  • On a daily basis, monitor all aspects of Offshore Safety.
  • Monitor contractor’s compliance with Safety Program and Training.
  • Prepare and maintain reports and documentation concerning the aspects of the safety program assigned.
  • Maintain knowledge of safety policies and procedures to enable the performance of assigned duties in a safe manner.
  • Conduct routine safety inspections, monitoring and analysis of work areas.
  • Accept assignments within the safety departments and perform specific duties as may be required.
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable rules and regulations including government regulations, standards and policies.
  • Be available at all times in case of emergency.
  • Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Project.

Qualifications

  • Need to have Nebosh or equivalent Certificate
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
