Job Description

Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) invites applications for a Senior HRMS Administrator/Consultant to join our Human Resources department. This position is a FULL-TIME opportunity based out of our regional office located in Washington, D.C. with a hybrid work model

Reporting to the HRMS Manager, the Senior HRMS Administrator/Consultant serves as a technical subject matter expert responsible for the design, configuration, integration, and optimization of MAPMG’s HR technology ecosystem. In this role, you will lead complex HRMS initiatives, partner closely with HR and business stakeholders, and ensure our systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with organizational strategy. This position plays a key role in expanding automation, improving data integrity, enhancing reporting and analytics, and delivering a seamless employee experience.

You can expect to:

  • Lead the technical design, configuration, and ongoing optimization of enterprise HRMS platforms
  • Design, build, test, and deploy complex system integrations using APIs, SFTP, SQL, and custom data transformations
  • Oversee HRMS data structures, workflows, business rules, security models, and system performance
  • Configure and implement new modules, role-based security, workflows, and position management frameworks
  • Diagnose and resolve advanced system and integration issues across HR, payroll, and vendor platforms
  • Maintain HR data integrity through audits, reconciliations, and proactive monitoring
  • Develop advanced dashboards, forecasting tools, and predictive models to support workforce planning and decision-making
  • Translate business and HR requirements into scalable reporting and analytics solutions
  • Administer day-to-day HRMS operations, including environment management, security administration, and documentation
  • Research, recommend, and implement new technologies and automation solutions to improve efficiency and user experience
  • Proactively identify and mitigate system, data, and operational risks across the HR technology landscape

What is required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, information technology, or a related technical field
  • Minimum of three years of hands‑on HRMS/HRIS technical experience, including system configuration, integrations, reporting, and data management (UKG Pro strongly preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience working with enterprise HR platforms such as UKG Pro, Workday, Oracle, or SuccessFactors
  • Strong expertise in reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI, Cognos Analytics, Tableau, or similar platforms
  • Proven experience designing and supporting complex system integrations using APIs and secure data transfer methods
  • Strong problem-solving skills, collaboration skills, and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Must be able to commute to Washington D.C., on an as-needed basis
  • Candidates must either currently live in or be willing to relocate to the Washington D.C. metropolitan area
  • Must provide documentation of the Covid vaccine 2-dose series (or J&J 1-dose) prior to October 1, 2023, or documentation for 1-dose of the most current Covid vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) as a condition of employment
  • Must provide documentation for the influenza vaccine as a condition of employment

The starting annual salary for this position ranges from $100,452.77 to $ 125,565.86, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, training, market data, and other relevant factors. In addition to the salary range above, MAPMG offers rich benefits that add substantial value to the total compensation package.
