The Senior HRIS Analystadvanced level role is responsible for theadministration, configuration, maintenance,analysis,and optimization of the organization’s HRIS and related applications.This role serves as the technicaland functionalsubject matter expert supporting HRoperations, workforce systems, compliancereporting, workforce analytics, andemployee data management. This positionpartners with HR leadership, InformationTechnology,and organizationalstakeholders to ensure data integrity,system efficiency,reporting accuracy,regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvement. The Senior HRISAnalyst also supports system implementations,upgrades, integrations, audits,troubleshooting, testing activities,and strategic HR technology initiativesto enhance operational effectiveness andworkforce decision-making. Provide HRISsupport for Oracle, Taleo,OBIA, and relatedsystems; train users; andtroubleshoot system, process, and dataissues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Administer,maintain, and optimize HRISsystems,modules, workflows, and related applications.Configure system settings, businessprocesses, organizational structures,security roles, and approval workflows.Troubleshoot system issues and collaboratewith Information Technologyand vendors to resolve technical problems, supportupgrades, patches, implementations,testing, and systemenhancements. Monitor HR systems toensure optimal functionality,data accuracy,integrity,compliance, and securemanagement of employee and organizationaldata. Maintain and audit employeedata, conduct discrepancy reviews,and support compliance with EEO,FLSA, ACA, HIPAA,FMLA, and otherregulatory reporting requirements. Develop,generate, and analyze reports, dashboards,and workforce analytics to supportHR operations, compliancerequirements, leadership decision-making, audits,and organizational reporting needs. AnalyzeHR business processesand recommend automation, workflow improvements,and operational efficiencies. Lead or support HRISprojects,integrations, User Acceptance Testing(UAT),system validations, and cross-functionalinitiatives. Develop and maintaindocumentation for procedures, workflows,system configurations, and business processes.Assist with HR technologystrategy,digital transformation initiatives,and continuous process improvement efforts while partnering with HRleadership, IT,and Data Security teams. Candidate must have experience with Oracle Cloud, Power BI, and database management. Project management experience preferred. Perform other duties as assigned.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Avalid driver's licensefrom state of residence isrequired.
HR certification (e.g.,SHRM-CP,PHR, or equivalentprofessional certification)preferred.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’sDegree in Human Resources, Business Administration,Information Systems, Engineering,ComputerScience, or arelated fieldrequired.
EXPERIENCE
Must have four (4) years of professionalprogressive level experience in Human Resources IntegratedSystems, HROperations, or related systems experienceis required. Experience with HR reportingtools, analytics, and systemtroubleshooting preferred. Must haveexperience supporting enterprise HR systemssuch as Oracle, or similar platforms.Experience supporting abroad range ofHR operations, programs, systems andrelated workforce processes preferred.Experience with Oracle HRIS,Taleo,OBIA reporting,HR systems Integrations and experiencein utilities, government,or unionized environments preferred.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Must participate in Supervisor Assessment Center within 90 days of hire. Must successfully complete NIMS Training within one (1) year of entering the job. Must have strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making skills and advanced utilization of Excel software. Works in office majority of the time.Physical Demands: Requires sedentary work involving standing or walking for brief periods, exerting up to 10 pounds of force on a regular basis; and dexterity in operating office equipment. This position requires vision, hearing and speaking abilities.

Electricity is supplied to MLGW by the Tennessee Valley Authority, while natural gas is purchased from a variety of suppliers and transported by three pipeline companies — Texas Gas Transmission Corporation, Trunkline Gas Company and ANR Pipeline Company. Memphis receives its water from one of the largest artesian water systems in the world.
MLGW is led by a president and a five-member board of commissioners who are appointed by the mayor of Memphis and approved by the Memphis City Council.
