How will you shape our tomorrow

To support the continued growth of our Digital Global Business Line (150 associates today), we are looking for an experienced and hands-on Senior HR Business Partner.

Based in Paris and reporting to the VP HR HQ and Transformation, you will act as the day-to-day HR partner for the Digital leadership team. You will combine close support to senior leaders and managers with the practical delivery of key HR activities, including recruitment, workforce planning, onboarding, performance, talent and compensation processes, employee relations and social dialogue.

You will manage a Talent Acquisition Specialist and play a central role in strengthening the organization’s ability to attract, integrate, develop and retain highly sought-after digital, IT and data profiles.

The role also has an international coordination dimension. For teams and associates based outside France, you will work closely with local HR leaders to align people priorities and coordinate talent and organizational topics.

This position is suited to an HR leader who enjoys moving confidently between strategic discussions with executives and the hands-on implementation of HR actions in a fast-moving, digital, international and matrixed environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Hands-on HR Business Partnering

• Act as the day-to-day HR Business Partner for the Digital Global Business Line leadership team and France-based associates.
• Provide practical and responsive HR advice to managers on organization, performance, development, team effectiveness and individual employee situations.
• Translate business priorities into clear people actions and ensure their effective implementation and follow-up.
• Support organizational changes and evolving ways of working in a fast-growing environment.

1. Recruitment, Workforce Planning and Onboarding

• Lead the recruitment plan for digital, IT and data profiles, with the support of the Talent Acquisition Specialist and relevant HR teams.
• Personally manage or contribute to the recruitment of key and senior profiles.
• Strengthen onboarding practices to support rapid integration, engagement and retention.
• Monitor recruitment progress in close collaboration with Managers and Finance.

1. Talent, Performance and Reward Processes

In a context where these roles are evolving rapidly, training, skills management, and career development are key priorities.

• Deliver and coordinate the annual performance, talent, succession and compensation review processes for the scope worldwide
• Prepare and facilitate talent reviews
• Design and implement best in class upskilling solutions dedicated to the specific IT / AI / tech domains

1. Employee Relations, Engagement and Social Dialogue

• Lead the social dialogue and manage the CSE agenda for Sonepar Digital.
• Foster an inclusive and engaging associate experience.

1. International HR Coordination and HR Community

• Coordinate global people priorities for the Digital Business Line in close partnership with local HR teams.
• Consolidate people data and workforce insights across the scope.
• Contribute to selected cross-functional HR projects at Headquarters level.

1. Team Management

• Manage and develop the Talent Acquisition Specialist.
• Coordinate effectively with the wider HQ HR team and HR centers of expertise

The experience you bring

Experience

• At least 10 years of broad HR experience, including significant HR Business Partner responsibilities in an international and matrixed environment.
• Proven experience supporting senior leaders while remaining closely involved in operational HR delivery.
• Strong experience in Career Management ideally for digital, technology, IT, data or other highly competitive profiles.
• Experience delivering performance, talent, succession and compensation review processes.
• Experience working in coordination with HR teams across several countries,
• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Law, Psychology or a related field.
• Fluent French and English.

• Ability to influence, create alignment and move topics forward in a matrix organization.
• Sound judgment, pragmatism and the ability to manage sensitive employee situations.

• Business acumen and genuine interest in digital and technology environments.
• Data-driven mindset and ability to turn HR data into practical recommendations.
• Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively with local and Group HR teams.
• Clear and effective communication in both French and English.
