Our HR Shared Services team, based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, is looking for an experienced Senior HR Shared Services Administrator to join the team.
In this role, you will provide a high-quality HR administration service, supporting colleagues and managers across the employee lifecycle. You will act as a key point of support within the HR Shared Services team, helping to resolve queries, manage more complex requests, and ensure HR processes are delivered accurately and efficiently. You will also support the wider team through knowledge sharing, coaching and quality checks.
This is a hybrid, Monday to Friday role.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Reporting into the HR Shared Services Team Leader, you will provide high-quality HR administration support across the employee lifecycle, managing more complex transactions and queries while ensuring work is completed accurately, compliantly and within agreed service standards. You will act as a key point of expertise within the team, supporting the resolution and escalation of complex employee and manager queries.
You will also play an important role in maintaining and improving service quality. This will include carrying out quality checks, ensuring HR records and system data are accurate, identifying trends or recurring issues, and supporting continuous improvement across HR processes. You will work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure a professional, responsive and consistent HR service.
As a senior member of the team, you will support the development of HR Shared Services Administrators through coaching, training and knowledge sharing. You will also help onboard new team members, share best practice and support colleagues in building their knowledge of HR processes, systems and service standards.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Our ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge and experience of employee lifecycle administration, ideally gained within an HR Shared Services or HR Administration environment. You’ll have excellent attention to detail, a strong focus on data accuracy and confidentiality, and be confident using HR systems and case management tools. You’ll also be comfortable interpreting and applying HR policies and procedures, while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
You’ll be a strong communicator with excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills, able to build positive relationships and handle sensitive HR queries professionally. As a senior member of the team, you’ll also have the confidence to coach, support and share knowledge with colleagues, helping to maintain high standards and deliver a consistent HR service.
Experience working with an HR ticketing or case management system would be advantageous, along with a good understanding of GDPR, employment legislation and HR best practice.
