The Senior HR Partner, Asia is a trusted advisor to leaders across Southeast Asia and Greater China, translating business priorities into people strategies that strengthen organizational effectiveness, talent outcomes, and employee experience.
Working independently and consultatively, you will apply sound judgement, regional HR expertise, and data-driven insights to solve complex people and organizational challenges. You will influence decisions, identify risks and opportunities, and collaborate across local, regional, and global teams to deliver practical solutions that balance business priorities, employee needs, and local requirements.

Key responsibilities (but not limited to...)
- Partner with business leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, talent strategy, organizational effectiveness, and change initiatives.
- Advise and coach leaders on employee relations, performance management, and complex people matters, applying sound judgement, local employment law knowledge, and appropriate risk management.
- Build trusted stakeholder relationships, providing thoughtful guidance, alternative perspectives, and appropriate escalation to support effective decision-making.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers on role design, job levelling, compensation positioning, and assessment of critical hires.
- Facilitate performance and compensation review cycles and partner with Talent Development to implement regional and global talent programs.
- Engage proactively with managers to understand team dynamics, identify emerging issues, and provide coaching and practical solutions.
- Contribute people insights to business and leadership discussions and represent Southeast Asia and Greater China in global HR initiatives and projects.
- Leverage HR data and analytics to identify trends and recommend actions across engagement, compensation, benefits, succession planning, and workforce initiatives.
- Ensure HR practices and policies align with applicable local employment legislation and statutory requirements, recommending improvements and escalating specialist matters where appropriate.
- Collaborate across regional and global HR teams and cross-functional partners to deliver a consistent, high-quality employee and manager experience.
Qualifications
- Hold a relevant tertiary qualification and/or recognized professional HR certification, or demonstrate equivalent knowledge and practical experience.
Experience and Expertise
- Bring 8–10 years of relevant HR experience across multiple disciplines, ideally within a fast-paced, multinational technology organization.
- Demonstrate regional HR business partnering experience across Asia, with experience supporting Southeast Asia and Greater China strongly preferred.
- Apply practical expertise across workforce planning, organizational design, job levelling, talent management, employee relations, performance management, and organizational change.
- Demonstrate knowledge of employment legislation, statutory requirements, and HR practices across Southeast Asia and Greater China, including when specialist local advice or escalation is required.
- Apply working knowledge of compensation principles, annual reward cycles, and broader talent processes.
- Interpret HR data and complex information to identify trends and translate insights into practical business recommendations.
- Bring experience working with HR or employment service agencies in China, including ADP and/or FESCO, which is highly desirable.
- Apply strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and HR information systems.
- Travel to key Genesys offices as required.

- Demonstrate curiosity in adopting AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to enhance HR delivery, insights, and decision-making.
Language Requirements
- Communicate fluently in written and spoken English.
- Bring proficiency in additional languages relevant to Southeast Asia or Greater China, which would be advantageous.
