Senior HR Officer

About the Role

Our client is looking for two experienced Senior HR Officers to support both daily HR operations and strategic HR initiatives within a dynamic international organization. These positions combine operational HR responsibilities with process improvement, HR systems, data management, and the implementation of a new HR platform.

There are two focus areas available:

* Senior HR Officer – Operations & Projects

* Senior HR Officer – Operations, HR Data & Functional Management

Both roles require experienced HR professionals who can work independently, collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, and contribute to the continuous improvement of HR services, systems, and processes.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and coordinate HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, internal changes, and offboarding.

* Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding operational HR matters.

* Support and contribute to HR projects and organizational improvement initiatives.

* Participate in the implementation of a new HR system, including process mapping, testing, key-user activities, and end-user support.

* Support the functional management of HR systems and ensure data quality and system performance.

* Prepare HR reports and analyze HR data to support business decisions.

* Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, workflows, and digital solutions.

* Collaborate with payroll partners to ensure accurate payroll processing.

* Work closely with HR colleagues, Finance, IT, Procurement, and other internal stakeholders.

* Maintain accurate HR documentation and ensure compliance with applicable employment legislation.

* Contribute to the continuous professionalization of HR operations and services.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree (HBO) or equivalent working and thinking level.

* Minimum of 5 years' experience in HR Operations or a similar Senior HR role.

* Experience with HR administration and operational HR processes.

* Experience with HR systems, preferably Youforce (Visma Raet) and/or Workday.

* Strong knowledge of Dutch employment legislation.

* Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.

* Strong analytical skills and experience working with HR data.

Preferred Experience

* Experience implementing or migrating HR systems.

* Experience as a key user during HR system implementations.

* Experience with HR reporting and data quality management.

* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

* Experience using SharePoint.

* Affinity with IT, digital transformation, and process optimization.

* Experience working within an international organization.
