Job Purpose
The Senior HR Manager will act as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team. Following the foundational work established in the startup phase, this role will focus on institutionalizing HR excellence, driving organizational development (OD) during rapid expansion, and optimizing the human capital budget to ensure long-term business sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic HR Leadership & OD
- Refine and execute a comprehensive HR strategy that aligns with the group's aggressive growth targets and multi-branch expansion.
- Lead Change Management initiatives during organizational restructuring or workflow improvements.
- Provide high-level HR data analytics and insights to the board for data-driven strategic decision-making.
- Cultivate and champion a robust company culture that reflects the organization's core values.
2. Talent Acquisition & Manpower Planning
- Strategize end-to-end recruitment for high-level leadership and specialized roles (both Local and Expat).
- Oversee the workforce planning and budget allocation for the launch of new branches, ensuring operational readiness from day one.
- Enhance the employer brand to maintain a high-quality talent pipeline in the education/tech sector.
3. Performance & Compensation Management
- Standardize and evolve the Performance Management System, ensuring KPIs and evaluation tools are directly linked to business ROI.
- Conduct regular market benchmarking to ensure compensation and benefits packages remain competitive and scalable.
- Oversee payroll summaries and commission structures for sales-driven teams to ensure accuracy and motivation.
4. Operations, Compliance & Employee Relations
- Audit and optimize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all HR functions for maximum efficiency.
- Ensure 100% compliance with Thai Labor Laws and manage complex government audits or legal submissions.
- Supervise the processing of Visas and Work Permits for foreign staff to ensure seamless legal operations.
- Act as a senior mediator for conflict resolution and lead high-impact employee engagement programs.
Qualifications
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field. A Master's degree or Mini Master in HR Management is highly preferred.
- Experience:
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in HR, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role within a startup or fast-growing educational environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Proven track record in building HR functions from the ground up
- Expertise in Thai Labor Law and Expat management (Visa/Work Permits).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- High resilience and adaptability to a fast-paced work culture.
- Language:
Professional fluency in English (Reading/Writing/Speaking) to support foreign stakeholders.
