Job Description

Sr. HR Generalist acts as a trusted HR Partner for assigned business functions in Ukraine, supporting effective implementation of HR strategy and people initiatives while ensuring a consistent employee experience across the full employee lifecycle.

The role provides comprehensive HR support to employees and managers across core HR areas, including talent and performance management, learning and development, employee engagement and culture, employee relations, and implementation of HR policies and practices aligned with company standards.

Main responsibilities

HR Business Partnering:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related matters
  • Act as HR Business Partner for assigned functions (Execution, IT, Commercial)
  • Advise managers on people-related decisions and HR practices
  • Support organizational effectiveness and workforce planning activities
  • Provide HR support during organizational and change initiatives

Talent and performance management:

  • Managing learning & development life-cycle, including needs analysis, development and execution of local L&D agenda, cascading/implementing regional initiatives to Ukraine;
  • Facilitating local calibration of performance and talent review sessions for the assigned functions, support further action planning
  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (training, performance, talent evaluations etc.)
  • Facilitating local training sessions for employees
  • Planning and keeping track of L&D budget for Ukraine

Engagement & Communication:

  • Ensure employee engagement and internal communications.
  • Lead Employee Engagement Survey if any (interpret results, present insights)
  • Drive creation and implementation of local engagement actions plans
  • Lead Employee assistant program and wellbeing projects in Ukraine

HR Planning & Operational Support

  • Support HR planning and operational HR processes, including budgeting activities, C&B activities, and implementation of HR projects aligned with business priorities

Additional Responsibilities

  • Apply a variety of policies, rules, procedures and regulations affecting assigned functions.
  • Review, interpret and recommend policy, process or program improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
  • Manage special projects.
  • Actively support the Company’s Safety, Health and Environmental systems and objectives

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in HR generalist, Sr. HR Generalist role, HR Business Partner

Education:

  • University degree (Human Resources, Management, Economics etc.)

Languages:

  • Ukrainian – native
  • English – fluent

Knowledge, Technical & Functional skills

  • Windows Office knowledge
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills
  • Deep knowledge of HR systems, databases and metrics
  • Outstanding speaking and writing skills
  • Awareness of labor laws from cluster countries
  • Cross functional and cross country collaboration

Soft skills:

  • Dynamic, organized and proactive
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data, detect trends, draw conclusions and formulate recommendations
  • Will be expected to handle and maintain confidential information with integrity
  • High level of accuracy, meeting key deadlines and attention to detail is required
