Our Upland facility specializes in injection molding and clean room assembly, supporting high-precision medical device manufacturing.
About the role:
The Senior HR Generalist will plan, direct, coordinate and evaluate overall human resource management activities to optimize the strategic use of human resources and maintain the following functional areas: compliance, policy/procedure development & maintenance, performance management, employee relations, continuing education, associate engagement, recruiting and training & development. As well as provides support and information to management and employees.
What you'll do:
• Recruits, screens and conducts reference checks on job applicants.
• Prepares and updates job descriptions; wage and benefit survey analysis; compiles EEO and all other HR reporting as needed.
• Conduct new hire and termination interviews.
• Assist in employee relations, as needed conduct formal and informal counseling of employees, witness and record employee responses to counseling.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding company policies, procedures and programs.
• Processing paperwork (background check & drug test), ensuring completeness of new hire folder and following up on documents needed.
• Promptly process workforce changes and employee change of status in HRIS.
• Maintain I-9 forms in compliance with Federal laws.
• Coordinate on-site training programs and office events (i.e. lunch and learns, holiday party).
• Oversees monitors and updates HRIS system to provide up-to-date personnel information and reporting.
• Conducts research and analyzes data on assigned projects.
• Respond to unemployment notices, wage claims and employment verifications.
• Manage all active, terminated, temporary employee records.
• Responsible for complying with proper internal controls as necessary to conduct job functions and/or carry out responsibilities and/or administrative activities at Company.
What you will need:
Education:
• Bachelor Degree preferred in Industrial Relations, Business, Human Resources or equivalent experience.
• Certification in HR a plus.
Experience:
• +6 years of work related experience, preferably in a high-tech manufacturing environment with an emphasis on employee relations and recruitment.
• Detailed knowledge of laws and regulations relating to employment, wage and benefit administration, employee relations and personnel records.
• Working knowledge of general policies and procedures.
• Strong Customer Relations skills.

We offer market competitive compensation. Potential salary range for this role is $90k-$110k. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law
