Job Description

Location: Helmond, Netherlands

Position: Full-time

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated HRBP who will oversee day-to-day HR operations in the Netherlands and Germany. The scope of this role includes recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management support, and ensuring compliance with local labor legislation. The right candidate will be proactive, organized, and confident in handling cross-border HR matters with discretion and cultural sensitivity.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for employees on HR-related matters.
  • Manage all HR activities for local employees in Netherlands.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Support performance review cycles and professional development initiatives.
  • Partner with managers to address employee relations and HR queries.
  • Coordinate with finance and external partners on payroll and benefits administration.
  • Keep updated with Dutch labor legislation and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with local managers to support employees in Germany.
  • Coordinate with external HR/legal advisors in Germany as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an HR Generalist, HR Officer, or HR Representative role.
  • Sound knowledge of Dutch employment practices; exposure to German HR frameworks is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English is required; Dutch and/or German language skills are a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High degree of confidentiality, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and digital tools (MS Office / Google Workspace).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • Background in small-to-medium-sized business setups.

Compensation: Salary budget available up to €7,000 per month.
