Position Overview
The Senior HR Business Partner (Director – Regional) is responsible for leading and driving the people strategy across multiple countries within the region. This role serves as a strategic advisor to Regional Business Leadership and acts as the bridge between Group HR and local teams.
The incumbent will oversee regional HR to ensure alignment of HR strategy, governance, talent management, and operational execution across markets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Business Partnership
Partner Regional CEO / Business Leaders / Partners to align people strategy with commercial objectives
Lead regional workforce planning and organizational design initiatives
Support market expansion, restructuring, and transformation projects
Participate as a key member of the Regional Leadership Team
2. Regional Talent Management
Develop regional succession planning and leadership pipelines
Identify high-potential talent across markets and drive mobility programs
Standardize performance management frameworks across countries
Lead regional leadership development initiatives
3. Governance, Risk & Compliance
Ensure compliance with local labor laws across all countries within scope
Harmonize HR policies and governance standards regionally
Partner Legal and Compliance teams on complex employee relations matters
Mitigate organizational risk through proactive HR advisory
4. Change & Transformation
Lead HR initiatives for regional transformation programs
Support cross-border M&A integration activities
Drive cultural alignment across diverse markets
Implement regional HR digitalization and process improvements
5. HR Operations & Cost Management
Provide oversight to Country HR Leads and HR Managers
Review and align regional compensation and benefits frameworks
Manage regional headcount planning and manpower budgets
Drive HR operational efficiency and shared service initiatives
6. Employee Engagement & Culture
Lead regional engagement survey strategy and action plans
Strengthen employer branding across markets
Champion diversity, equity & inclusion initiatives regionally
7. HR Analytics & Reporting
Consolidate regional HR metrics and provide insights to Group Leadership
Monitor turnover, workforce cost, productivity, and engagement trends
Drive data-informed decision-making across markets
