Consults with employees and managers to address root causes of human resources issues, attempting to resolve employee relations issues with a systematic approach. Participates in company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., salary review, stock renewal, workforce planning, and organizational change). Assists senior management in the development of solutions through organizational development and cultural and process-oriented perspectives. May play a role in administering talent management and succession planning activity within client organization. Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis and problem solving. As an Individual Contributor – People Capability Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting and executing the people agenda in close partnership with the Senior Manager PCBP and business stakeholders.
The role requires strong execution capability, sound PC judgment, and the ability to independently manage day-to-day and moderately complex people matters across the employee lifecycle. You will work closely with the PC team and business Leaders to drive consistency in PC practices, support key initiatives, and enhance overall employee experience, while being guided on broader priorities and direction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Partnership & PC Delivery
Work closely with the Senior PCBP to support delivery of key People Capability priorities and initiatives
Partner with business managers to address day-to-day people matters, ensuring timely and consistent support
Support execution of PC programs across PC operations, L&D, communications, and change initiatives
Act as a reliable point of contact for managers for operational and employee-related queries
Demonstrate strong business acumen by understanding organizational goals, translating them into people strategies, and delivering measurable impact.
Act as a proactive and trusted partner to leaders by anticipating the BU/emp needs, influencing decisions, and driving forward-looking HR initiatives.
Translate AI-driven insights into actionable people strategies, partnering with business leaders to identify risks, opportunities, and future talent needs.
Champion responsible and ethical use of AI in HR, ensuring compliance, data privacy, and fairness in decision-making processes.
Continuously explore emerging AI capabilities to innovate HR practices and deliver scalable, forward-looking solutions aligned with organizational priorities.
Support execution of performance management, talent reviews, and development planning cycles
Guide managers on performance conversations, goal setting, and development actions
Help identify talent gaps and coordinate with relevant teams on hiring or development interventions
Track and follow up on key talent actions to ensure closure
Manage and resolve employee relations queries and moderately complex cases, with guidance as needed
Partner with Senior Manager PCBP, PC Ops, and legal teams on sensitive or high-impact cases
Ensure consistent application of PC policies and adherence to compliance requirements
Maintain documentation and ensure timely closure of cases
Support implementation of change initiatives, including org updates, transitions, and policy rollouts
Work with managers to ensure clear communication and smooth adoption of changes
Reinforce key messages and ensure alignment across teams
Support compensation processes including salary reviews, promotions, and benchmarking inputs
Assist in validating data and ensuring internal parity and consistency
Partner with COEs and Senior PCBP on compensation-related queries and cases
Support execution of engagement initiatives such as surveys, focus groups, and team interventions
Gather and share insights on employee sentiment with the Senior PCBP
Track action plans and follow up with managers to ensure progress
Assist in driving initiatives that enhance team morale and employee experience
Ensure smooth execution of key PC processes including onboarding, transfers, mobility, and exits
Collaborate with PC COEs (TA, L&D, Rewards, Ops) to deliver aligned solutions
Ensure compliance with policies, processes, and employment guidelines
Maintain data accuracy and support reporting requirements
Strong execution and delivery orientation
Good understanding of PC processes across ER, performance, and talent management
Ability to partner effectively with managers and collaborate within PC teams
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and sound judgment
Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
4-8 years of experience into PCBP responsibilities
Experience supporting business teams in operational PC and employee relations
Exposure to multiple PC areas (performance, ER, engagement, basic comp)
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in PC, Business, or related field
