Job Description

Welcome to KTO Group, where innovation drives excitement in iGaming. Founded in 2018 by Andreas Bardun, we’re transforming online gaming with a focus on transparency and player satisfaction.
At KTO.com, we blend the thrill of sports betting with online casino entertainment, tailored to local markets and powered by our proprietary platform for a seamless, personalized experience.
KTO is a rising leader in LATAM, proudly ranked among Brazil’s top 10 iGaming brands. Join us as we set new standards in trust, innovation, and the future of iGaming.

We’re looking for a Senior HR Business Partner to be a strategic partner to leaders across different areas of the business, with a strong focus on talent development and retention.

This is a role that combines execution and strategy. You’ll work side by side with leaders — supporting, diagnosing, and building together — while also ensuring HR operations run smoothly and in compliance. Responsibility for people development and management is shared with leadership; your role is to be the partner that makes it possible.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders on talent development and retention initiatives — including potential mapping, individual development plans, succession planning, and career conversations

  • Identify early signs of key talent risk and act proactively, before it becomes a problem

  • Contribute to building career and development frameworks in areas where none currently exist, in close partnership with leadership

  • Support the design and execution of learning and development initiatives, partnering with leaders to identify capability gaps and build programs that drive growth

  • Collaborate with department leaders to align people strategies with business goals, providing insight and guidance on organizational matters

  • Lead and evolve performance management processes, ensuring a culture of continuous feedback, growth, and accountability

  • Coach and empower managers to build strong, motivated, and resilient teams that deliver sustainable results

  • Support change management, team structure optimization, and capability building to drive business growth and efficiency

  • Provide expert advice and support on employee relations, ensuring fairness, compliance, and constructive resolution of workplace matters

  • Promote engagement and well-being by partnering on initiatives that strengthen KTO’s collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance culture

  • Ensure excellence and consistency in HR operations and compliance with Brazilian labor laws

  • Partner closely with Talent Acquisition, L&D, Compensation, and People Operations to deliver unified and strategic HR initiatives

Requirements

  • Solid experience as an HRBP, with a background in fast-paced environments and significant organizational change

  • Hands-on experience with talent development and retention practices: potential mapping, career conversations, calibrations, IDPs, and succession planning

  • Proven experience driving performance, engagement, and cultural initiatives

  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and influencing skills — including the ability to influence without formal authority

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights

  • Ability to move between strategic and operational work without losing sight of either

  • Advanced English proficiency required for day-to-day communication with international teams

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field

Nice to Have

  • Experience in digital, tech, or iGaming environments

  • Background in international or distributed operations

  • Experience in build-from-scratch contexts, where HR policies and processes were being created

  • Deep understanding of Brazilian labor law and HR operational practices
