Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE

The P&O Business Partner contributes to the development of Product Supply activities in Romania, by successfully coordinating and implementing Human Resources processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Strategic HR Partnership: Partners with the leadership team to define and implement the human resources and talent strategy, with a strong focus on current and future workforce needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning for Product Supply operations.
  • Workforce Planning: Acts as a strategic partner for all workforce planning activities, ensuring alignment between business priorities and talent requirements.
  • Employee & Labour Relations / HR Risk Management: Ensures effective implementation and compliance with local labor laws and social requirements; Leads employee and labour relations activities and coordinates HR-related litigation matters, in collaboration with the legal department when needed.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Implements corporate compensation and benefits policies and provides guidance to the management team during the compensation review process.
  • Performance & Talent Management: Oversees the deployment of the performance management cycle and coordinates the career and development review process together with the local management team; Consolidates performance evaluations and development plans across the Product Supply organization.
  • Business KPIs & Operational Excellence: Monitors and drives continuous improvement of HR-related operational KPIs connected to Product Supply business activities.
  • Workforce Administration: Coordinates HR operational processes related to personnel management and ensures timely support for employees’ inquiries, together with the local HR Operations team.
  • HR Systems & Processes (Workday): Uses Workday to manage and support core HR processes, ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS

  • University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 year experience in a similar position;
  • Demonstrated experience in HR within manufacturing, industrial, or Product Supply environments is considered a strong advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Romanian labour legislation and proven experience managing employee and labour relations.
  • Demonstrated experience with HR core processes: performance management, talent development, compensation & benefits, and workforce planning.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems, preferably Workday.
  • Ability to analyze HR data and monitor HR operational KPIs.
  • Fluent English skills (written and spoken).
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to partner with senior leadership.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and sound decision‑making.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive HR initiatives to completion.
