Zayo is seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP)to support our commercial sales organization within a rapidly growing telecom company. This role will play a critical part in scaling the business, driving organizational effectiveness, and supporting leaders through a significantpost-acquisition integration

Reporting to theCommercial HR Leader , our Senior HRBP will serve as a trusted advisor to senior sales leadership, aligning people strategies with business objectives in a dynamic, high-performance environment.

*Hybrid role based out of Denver, CO - 2 days per week in the office

Responsibilities:

Strategic Partnership

  • Partner with commercial and sales leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that support revenue growth and market expansion

  • Provide coaching and guidance to senior leaders on organizational design, leadership effectiveness, and change management

  • Translate business strategy into actionable talent and workforce plans

M&A Integration & Change Leadership

  • Lead and support HR aspects of acquisition integration, including org design, talent assessment, culture alignment, and communication strategies

  • Drive change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new structures, processes, and cultural norms

  • Identifyand mitigate integration risks related to talent retention and engagement

Talent Management & Development

  • Lead talent planning, succession planning, and high-potential development for sales teams

  • Partner with leaders to build strong pipelines of diverse talent in a competitive telecom market

  • Implement performance management practices that drive accountability and results

Sales Organization Support

  • Support sales compensation alignment in partnership with Total Rewards (incentive plans, quotas, territory design considerations)

  • Provide insights on workforce productivity, headcount planning, and sales effectiveness

  • Understanduniquedynamics of telecom sales (enterprise, mid-market, channel, etc.)

Employee Experience & Culture

  • Champion a high-performance, inclusive culture during a period of transformation

  • Address employee relationsmatterswith sound judgment and a business-first mindset

  • Leverage engagement data and insights to drive action planning

HR Operations & Execution

  • Partner cross-functionally with Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, L&D, Total Rewards, HR Operations)

  • Use data and analytics to inform decisions and measure impact of HR initiatives

  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies

Qualifications:

  • Eight to twelve (8–12) years of progressive HR experience, including direct HRBP support tosales or commercial organizations

  • Experience intelecom, technology, or related high-growth industries preferredbut notrequired

  • Proven experience supporting or leadingM&A integration or large-scale transformation initiativespreferred

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to influence senior leaders

  • Excellent change management, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  • Bachelor’s degreestrongly preferred; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR)a plus

Estimated base salary range: $87,600 - $134,700 USD/annually

The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.

Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance, disability retirement plans, paid time off.

The posting will be active for a minimum of 3 days. The active posting will continue to extend by 3 days until the position is filled.
