We are Chandos
We exist to build a better world.
Our vision is to emerge as Canada’s premier technical builder, distinguished by our relentless pursuit of innovation, collaboration, and sustainability in all that we do. Our three missions guide our daily work and help us achieve our purpose and vision. And the way we behave as we work towards these ambitious goals is to embrace and champion inclusion, collaboration, innovation, and courage.
We are 100 per cent employee-owned, and our success is driven by our employee owners. We prioritize people, purpose, and performance in all that we do.
Every employee has a financial stake in the company’s performance. When the company thrives, you benefit directly. When everyone is invested—literally—it builds a community of accountability, pride and mutual support.
We look for team members who are gritty, accountable, and driven — with a mindset rooted in initiative and purpose, you think like an entrepreneur and build strong, trusting relationships through clear communication and thoughtful dialogue, even in challenging conversations.
Chandos is growing across Canada, and we’re looking for an experienced HR Business Partner. Reporting to the Senior Manager, HR Business Partnering, this role is accountable for enabling people practices that align with business priorities, performance goals, and long‑term growth.
As a Senior HRBP, you will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, applying data and insight to decision‑making, and navigating complexity in a fast‑moving environment. You will proactively identify risks and opportunities, support leaders through critical decisions, and contribute to the ongoing success of the organization.
In this role, you’ll provide full‑spectrum HR support to your districts — including employee relations, workforce planning, recruitment, leader coaching, and organizational change. You will draw on deep HR experience to effectively navigate high‑impact or sensitive situations.
You’ll partner with our Strategic Recruitment team to ensure your hiring activities align with established best practices and recruitment standards, and you’ll collaborate with HR Program and Policy teams to support broader initiatives across talent, total rewards, employee relations, and HR technology.
This role includes travel to district locations to build strong, in‑person relationships and provide hands‑on support.

Drive end‑to‑end recruitment for salaried roles, partnering with leaders to support informed hiring decisions aligned with workforce and organizational priorities
Champion a positive, inclusive, and values‑driven culture
