About the Role

Midea is looking for a Senior HR Analyst to support HR operations across Peru, Colombia, and Ecuador, with a strong focus on payroll management, compliance, and HR administration.

This role will act as a key point of contact between employees, vendors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring accurate and timely payroll execution while supporting broader HR initiatives such as employee experience, engagement, and training.

The position is highly oriented toward payroll and legal compliance (approx. 60–70%), with additional exposure to general HR operations and employee-related initiatives (30–40%).

Key Responsibilities

Payroll & Compliance (Core Focus)

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processes for Peru, Colombia, and Ecuador through external vendors.
  • Validate payroll data including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and leaves.
  • Ensure payroll accuracy through audits, reconciliations, and quality controls prior to approval.
  • Coordinate payroll approvals with HRBP and Finance to ensure timely payments.
  • Manage employee inquiries related to payroll (payments, taxes, social security, etc.).
  • Maintain proper payroll documentation in line with audit and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to payroll calendars and submit monthly payroll forecasts.
  • Monitor labor costs and align payroll inputs with budget planning.

HR Operations & Administration

  • Manage HR invoicing processes, including validation, submission, and payment follow-up.
  • Execute vendor selection (bidding) processes, ensuring compliance and proper supplier comparison.
  • Support recruitment coordination (interviews, documentation, offer tracking).
  • Administer HR documentation such as contracts, leave requests, and employment certificates.
  • Coordinate with vendors for HR services and ensure service level compliance.
  • Support Compensation & Benefits processes and administration.

Employee Experience & Local HR Support (Peru)

  • Act as the local HR point of contact (HR Buddy) for employees in Peru.
  • Address employee inquiries and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Maintain communication with local leaders to identify needs and provide HR support.
  • Support and execute employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Coordinate training and development activities aligned with business needs.
  • Support Occupational Health & Safety processes and compliance.
  • Attend and respond to labor authority visits when required.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in payroll processes, preferably in Peru and/or Colombia.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, payroll taxes, and social security regulations.
  • Experience managing payroll through external vendors.
  • Exposure to multi-country HR operations is highly desirable.
  • Experience supporting HR administrative and operational processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with HR systems (SAP or similar).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • English: Intermediate.
