My Client is seeking a Senior HR Advisor to provide strategic, hands-on human resources support to our clients across California. This is a dynamic consulting role where priorities and assignments will vary based on client needs.

The Senior HR Advisor will serve as a trusted HR partner to clients, providing guidance on employee relations, HR compliance, performance management, policies and procedures, investigations, and other workplace matters. The ideal candidate is a seasoned HR professional who can confidently assess situations, provide practical recommendations, work independently, and effectively communication with both employees and business leaders.

This position is primarily remote, with occasional on-site client meetings as needed. Flexible scheduling is a key benefit of the role, providing the opportunity to balance meaningful, high-impact work with personal commitments.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including significant experience in a senior HR Business Partner, HR Management, or HR consulting/advisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of California and federal employment laws and regulations with the ability to interpret requirements and provide practical guidance to clients.
• Broad knowledge of HR disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, compensation, recruitment, leave management, HR compliance, policy development, and organizational effectiveness.
• Demonstrated experience advising multiple clients, business units, or divisions in a consulting, HR Business Partner, or similar capacity.
• Proven experience independently managing and resolving complex employee relations matters, performance issues, and other sensitive HR situations.
• Experience developing, reviewing, and implementing employee handbooks, HR policies, procedures, and compliance practices.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience developing and delivering employee or management training, including the ability to develop training materials and curricula.
• Experience with compensation analysis and benchmarking is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and at client locations, while effectively managing multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong, trusted relationships with business owners, executives, managers, and employees at all levels.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex HR and compliance matters clearly and effectively.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to provide practical, business-minded HR recommendations.
• High degree of professionalism, ethics, sound judgment, and personal integrity, particularly when handling confidential and sensitive employee and client information.
• Must be able to work independently with minimum guidance.
• Must have intermediate to advance knowledge of MS Office products, include PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred.
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
