Senior HPC Technology Consultant

£80,000 - £90,000 + Benefits + Bonuses

We are recruiting for a Senior HPC Technology Consultant to join a renowned consultancy and their client in the public sector. You will be joining the HPC & AI Business Unit, providing Hardware and Software support for large HPC systems with a prestigious UK customer. Due to the nature of the end-client, the successful candidate will need to either hold, or be eligible for SC Clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain records of planned maintenance actions and outcomes within the case management systems.
• Ensure compliance with customer rules for change management controls.
• Possess excellent customer interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Provide a professional and positive approach to the customer in the execution of all duties.

Experience Required:

• Strong Experience with Linux and performing hardware repairs is a must.
• Experience of configuration management tools such as Ansible and Linux kernel
• Strong script writing skills on platforms such as Python, Bash, etc.
• Experience with Job Schedulers such as PBS Pro/Slurm and with Infiniband is highly desirable.
