In this senior lending role, you’ll support customers through some of their most important financial decisions by delivering tailored lending solutions across purchasing, investing, refinancing, renovating and more complex lending scenarios.
Based at our Brookside Shopping Centre branch in Mitchelton, you’ll benefit from strong foot traffic and an established local presence, giving you a solid foundation to build your pipeline. With a strong focus on business development, you’ll proactively grow your network, build referral partnerships and generate new opportunities through community engagement, while managing applications end-to-end and collaborating closely with branch colleagues and specialist teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.

You’ll be joining our Customer Service Lending team - a high-performing and collaborative team focused on helping customers move forward with confidence.
As a Senior Home Lending Specialist, you’ll be recognised as a trusted lending expert within the branch and local community, using your commercial acumen, relationship-building capability and lending expertise to grow your network, support customers through complex lending needs and drive strong business outcomes.
At Brookside, you’ll operate with a high level of ownership, supported by strong Customer Service Network presence, regular Mobile Banker interaction and a busy retail environment with consistent customer flow.
What you'll be doing
Growing your lending pipeline through networking, community engagement and referral partnerships
Supporting customers through every stage of the home buying journey with tailored lending solutions and exceptional service
Leading meaningful lending conversations to understand customers’ goals and identify the right financial solutions
Structuring and managing lending applications end-to-end, including more complex lending scenarios
Partnering closely with branch colleagues and specialist teams to deliver seamless customer outcomes
Ensuring lending applications meet credit policy, regulatory and responsible lending requirements
Contributing to a high-performing, customer-focused team culture while strengthening your presence in the local community
Leveraging strong branch foot traffic to convert opportunities into lending outcomes
What we’re looking for
Demonstrated success in home lending, with a strong track record of growing and managing a pipeline
Proven ability to generate self-sourced business through networking, community engagement and referral partnerships
Experience managing complex lending scenarios and interpreting detailed financial information
Strong understanding of credit policy, responsible lending obligations and risk management principles
Commercial acumen with the ability to identify broader banking and relationship opportunities
Exceptional relationship-building, communication and stakeholder management skills
Confidence developing trusted partnerships within the local community and across referral networks
A proactive, customer-focused approach with a passion for delivering outstanding service outcomes
High attention to detail and a strong commitment to compliance and quality outcomes
Confidence operating in a standalone, high-traffic branch environment
