Senior Heritage Consultant

Melbourne or Geelong | Renewable Energy & Infrastructure Projects

• Play a key role in some of Victoria's most significant renewable energy and infrastructure projects
• Work closely with Traditional Owners, clients and multidisciplinary project teams
• Help shape and grow Fyfe's expanding Heritage capability

The Opportunity

As Australia's renewable energy industry continues to grow, so does the need for experienced heritage professionals who can help deliver projects responsibly while protecting cultural heritage values.

We're looking for a Senior Heritage Consultant to join our Victorian team and play a key role in delivering major projects across renewable energy, transmission and infrastructure. This is an opportunity to combine technical expertise, stakeholder engagement and project leadership while helping to build the future of our growing Heritage team.

The Impact You'll Have

• Lead cultural heritage projects from proposal and planning through to completion.
• Deliver high-quality heritage assessments, technical reports and project outcomes.
• Build trusted relationships with clients, Traditional Owners, regulators and key stakeholders.
• Provide project leadership across budgets, schedules and delivery.
• Mentor and support emerging heritage professionals within the team.
• Collaborate with planners, environmental scientists, engineers and other specialists on multidisciplinary projects.
• Support business development activities and contribute to the continued growth of Fyfe's Heritage capability.

What You'll Bring

You'll be an experienced heritage professional with a passion for delivering quality outcomes, building strong relationships and contributing to meaningful projects.

You'll also bring:

• A tertiary qualification in Archaeology, Anthropology, Heritage, History or a related discipline.
• Experience delivering heritage projects within a consulting environment.
• Strong knowledge of Victorian heritage legislation, cultural heritage management and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience managing project budgets, timelines and client expectations.
• Excellent report writing, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A collaborative approach and a genuine interest in mentoring others.
