We are seeking a Senior Heritage Consultant to join the NBRS Heritage Studio in Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity to join our highly skilled heritage team and work across a broad range of projects that span the full spectrum of heritage management and conservation.

As a multi-disciplinary design practice, NBRS works as an integrated team with expertise in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Heritage, and Interior Design. We operate through three studio locations in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane.
The NBRS Heritage team is a mix of heritage architects, consultants and historians who provide the full range of specialist heritage consulting services. Established over 50 years ago, we have extensive experience working with sites of Commonwealth, State and local significance at all scales - from small cottages to city buildings and complex sites.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior Heritage Consultant, you will actively provide heritage advice and prepare heritage reports such as assessments, heritage impact statements, conservation management plans and interpretation plans. You will work across all phases of a project from site visit to submission and implementation, both on your own and as part of a team. Your work will involve direct liaison with clients, architects and authorities, and you will provide verbal and written advice on heritage issues, including conservation works. You will also manage project programs and budgeting and maintain high quality client and stakeholder relationships. This is a 'hands on' opportunity, and we are seeking a real team player with a positive attitude, no matter how big or small the project. In this role you will be supported by the Studio Principal and the rest of the team, while upholding the ethos, strategies, and design direction of NBRS.
