As a Senior Superintendent, you’ll take the lead on technically demanding healthcare projects that require precision, compassion, and deep expertise. From active hospital renovations to outpatient improvements and complex medical equipment installations, your leadership will help us deliver environments where safety and care come first — for patients, providers, and everyone on-site.
In this high-impact position, you’ll oversee the full lifecycle of large-scale healthcare construction projects — ensuring quality execution, regulatory compliance, and team success across the board. You’ll be the strategic field leader who sets the tone on-site, mentors emerging talent, and keeps everyone aligned and informed — from project kickoff to final handover.
Lead field operations on complex, multi-stakeholder healthcare projects
Ensure full compliance with OSHPD/HCAI, Cal/OSHA, ADA, and ICRA/ILSM protocols
Act as the primary field liaison for clients, inspectors, and trade partners
Mentor and coach superintendents, foremen, and field engineers to elevate performance
Develop and maintain clear project schedules using Microsoft Project
Proactively manage job site risks, challenges, and evolving field conditions
Oversee logistics, materials, crew coordination, and safe work planning
Champion Dome’s strong safety culture — always leading by example
Drive quality assurance from foundation through final closeout
10+ years of field leadership experience in commercial construction
Minimum of 5 years leading healthcare construction projects
Proven success on OSHPD/HCAI projects, especially in active hospital environments
Deep knowledge of healthcare safety, regulatory, and infection control standards
Experience managing multiple trades and project stakeholders
Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, BIM, and Microsoft Project
Exceptional communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
Calm, clear-headed leadership under pressure
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites across California
This is a boots-on-the-ground leadership role. You’ll be on-site daily — walking the job, inspecting progress, resolving field challenges, and building strong relationships with everyone involved. The role involves climbing ladders, lifting up to 25 lbs, and wearing PPE to ensure safe participation in active construction zones.
