Join Trimble's manufacturing engineering team and play a key role in supporting the production of innovative technology products at our contract manufacturing partner in Ayutthaya, Thailand. Working closely with manufacturing, quality and engineering teams across the region, you will develop and maintain test systems, support new product introductions, troubleshoot production issues, and drive continuous improvements to manufacturing test processes.

In this role, you will be key in building and commissioning functional test systems and production process equipment, directly influencing product quality and shaping the future of global operational efficiency.
Key Exciting Responsibilities:
Spearhead the development, installation, and upgrading of new test programs and fixtures for seamless new product introduction.
Drive cross-functional collaboration with regional test teams and our contract manufacturer partners to ensure complete production readiness.
Lead advanced failure analysis and debugging for complex assembly and manufacturing test systems, including wireless and communication protocols.
Analyze test data and production trends to identify continuous improvement opportunities that maximize testing yields.
Maintain test database systems and software at the manufacturing site to ensure daily operations run smoothly.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Bachelor degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, Test, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Proven hands-on experience building, debugging, and commissioning functional test systems within an electronic manufacturing environment.
Strong proficiency in using diagnostic tools like oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers to perform root cause analysis.
Working knowledge of quality methods, including process capability, statistical process control, and study implementation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with and influence cross-functional global teams.
Bonus Points For:
Experience working directly with sub-contract manufacturing or contract manufacturers.
Solid understanding of surface mount technology processes, wireless electronics, and GPS technology.
Familiarity with test software systems, scripting languages, and database script management.
Knowledge of mechanical design and CAD systems.
Location: Ayutthaya, Thailand (Onsite)
