We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Hardware Engineer to join our hardware development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, verification, and delivery of complex high-speed digital hardware solutions. This role involves PCB design for FPGA-based systems, signal and power integrity considerations, manufacturing support, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams throughout the product lifecycle.


Job Responsibilities

  • Design and develop complex FPGA-based, high-speed digital hardware and multilayer PCBs.
  • Implement and optimize interfaces such as DDR4, PCIe, Ethernet, USB, HDMI, and DisplayPort.
  • Perform hardware validation, debugging, and support manufacturing and product bring-up activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, high-quality product

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in PCB and hardware design.
  • Strong experience designing FPGA-based hardware platforms.
  • Proven expertise in high-speed digital design with:
    • DDR4 memory interfaces
    • PCI Express (PCIe)
  • Hands-on experience with Siemens Xpedition design environment.
  • Strong knowledge of schematic capture, PCB layout, and hardware debugging.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with PCB Signal Integrity (SI) simulation using Siemens toolchain.
  • Experience with PCB Power Integrity (PI) simulation using Siemens toolchain.
  • Experience designing high layer-count PCBs.
  • Knowledge of high-speed communication interfaces:
    • Ethernet
    • USB
    • HDMI
    • DisplayPort (DP)
  • Experience with embedded software development and hardware bring-up.
  • Knowledge of HDL languages such as Verilog or VHDL.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or TCL.
  • Experience defining manufacturing tests and working directly with contract manufacturers.
  • Strong understanding of EMC, EMI, ESD, and product safety requirements

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this position is 80,000 to 102,000 EUR and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
