The Senior Graphic Designer will work on graphic projects, including but not limited to general graphic design layout, pre-press prep and digital photo manipulation for high profile projects.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

·Lead the conceptualization and design of visual artwork design for print and digital platforms, including advertising campaigns, sales and marketing collateral, logos, billboards, packaging, signage, DodgerVision graphics, support for social media graphics, etc.

·Ensure high quality execution of various levels of graphics work, from simple to complex, including image cutouts, uniform swaps and DodgerVision headshot creation

·Collaborate with Senior Manager, Graphic Design and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency on the strategy of creative direction to ensure broader brand objectives and support increasing fan engagement.

·Preserve visual consistency and creative excellence across all visual touchpoints utilizing established brand standards and guidelines, reinforcing our brand identity.

·Manage relationships with external vendors and production partners, overseeing quality, timelines and deliverables for all projects assigned.

·Other duties as assigned

Basic Requirements/Qualifications:

Education

·Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in related field OR equivalent work experience

Work Experience

·Minimum 5 years of experience in a design and production environment

·Minimum 3 years of experience in media, entertainment or sports

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

·Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat Pro

·Working knowledge of Microsoft Powerpoint, Word and Excel

·Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Photoshop animation

·Ability to work in a Macintosh-based environment

·Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines

·Attention to detail, both visually and grammatically

·Ability to think and work independently

·Conceptual skills with ability to take projects from concept to completion, sometimes working with project sponsors and organizational stakeholders to get additional specifications to execute first-class projects

·Understanding of basic design principles, including gestalt, use of negative space, balance and hierarchy

·Strong background in typography

·Design and production skills with understanding of the creative process

·Ability to design for traditional print and web-based projects

·Ability to clearly communicate deadlines and processes to vendors for various projects to ensure on time delivery of a quality product

·Strong work ethic with a “can-do” attitude

·Knowledge of the Dodgers and the sport of baseball, both current and historical, a major plus

The Los Angeles Dodgers are a professional baseball team based in Los Angeles, California. The Dodgers are members of the National League West division of Major League Baseball (MLB).
