Your new role

As our new Senior Graphic Designer, you will be a key contributor to Ramboll’s global Branding & Design team, based at our headquarters in Copenhagen, and working closely with our Design Delivery Centre in Chennai. Your primary focus will be on producing high-quality publications, reports, and long-form documents that translate complex content into clear, engaging visual narratives.

You will work at the intersection of creative craft and brand discipline, ensuring that everything we produce reflects the quality, coherence, and integrity of our visual identity. You will collaborate closely with writers, subject-matter experts, project managers, and the wider design team to deliver polished, on-brand materials that make a real impact.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead the design and layout of high-quality assets, including publications, reports, and long-form documents (e.g. the annual report).
• Translate complex information into clear, engaging, and visually consistent layouts, with strong visual communication and data visualisation.
• Ensure all deliverables adhere to brand guidelines and strengthen our overall visual identity.
• Collaborate closely with writers, subject-matter experts, and project managers to produce polished final outputs.
• Maintain high production standards, ensuring accuracy, coherence, and visual clarity across all materials.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within agreed timelines.
• Support the creative team with design expertise across presentations and other document types when needed.

About you

You know what great design looks like. Your trained eye for quality, combined with your ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a global organisation, will set you up for success in this role. We imagine that you:

• Have 5+ years of experience in graphic design, with a strong focus on layout for publications and reports.
• Have a strong understanding of digital publications (e.g. PDF optimisation, interactivity, accessibility standards).
• Expert in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Familiar with working within brand systems in a global organisation.
• Have a strong eye for typography, grids, hierarchy, and visual storytelling.
• Confident working with illustrations and images — including retouching, colour correction, and preparing visual assets for final print and digital delivery.
• Have experience working with illustration, data visualisation, charts, and complex information design.
• Are highly detail-oriented with excellent quality control and proofing skills.
• You are able to work independently and take ownership of deliverables from concept to final artwork.
• Comfortable collaborating across functions and working in a fast-moving environment.
• Have experience working in corporate, agency, or consultancy settings.
• Feel confident collaborating across cultures with other design specialists, giving constructive feedback, and taking an active role in raising the bar for design quality within the team.
