Join City of Moreton Bay as a Senior Governance and Privacy Business Partner, where you’ll play a pivotal role in strengthening governance, safeguarding information integrity, and supporting transparent decision-making; helping to shape a community that thrives today and into the future.
This role sits at the heart of Council’s governance framework, providing trusted support and specialist advice on all matters associated with privacy and information access legislation with a strong emphasis on discretion and professionalism.
A key feature of the role involves the implementation and maintenance of Council’s Privacy program, and the management of applications, requests and complaints made under the Information Privacy Act 2009 and the Right to Information Act 2009
The position also partners with the governance team to work across a broad range of functions, including complaint investigations, contributing to the development of various training programs and tools, and assisting with the identification and management of privacy risks.

About you
We are looking for someone with specialist knowledge and skills in interpreting legislation relating to local government operations, information access and Privacy in particular the Information Privacy Act 2009 and or Right to Information Act 2009
You will have;
You will have a relevant tertiary qualifications in business, law, policy or a related field.
