Senior Global Event Specialist (m/f/d)

Verantwortlichkeiten & Qualifikationen

What awaits you:

The Senior Global Event Specialist is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple high-impact events across Novelis’ regions and time zones.

In this role, you will turn big ideas into memorable event experiences, bringing together commercial priorities, strong storytelling, smart budgets, and seamless execution. You will work with stakeholders across Commercial, Sales, Leadership, Legal, and other business functions to create events that feel polished, purposeful, and distinctly Novelis. From shaping the guest experience and coordinating creative partners to managing exhibits, on-site details, and post-event learnings, you will keep every moving part on track and help make each event better than the last.

  • Bring trade shows and customer events to life from first idea to final applaus - shaping concepts, booth experience, messaging, and the creative and logistic partners, who help make it happen
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather inputs, manage deliverables, and coordinate reviews and approvals
  • Own the practical magic behind great events: smart budgets, strong vendor partnerships, solid contracts, travel plans, venues, shipping, accommodations, and every on-site detail
  • Partner with Corporate External Communications and internal teams (Commercial, Strategy, Sustainability) to create event communications that are on-brand, well-timed, and easy for everyone to act on
  • Be the calm, capable lead on-site: coordinating teams, solving issues quickly, capturing what worked, and using insights and ROI to make the next event even stronger

How you convince us:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in event management, marketing communications, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in trade show and/or event management
  • Strong background in event planning or project management, marketing and budgeting
  • Experience sourcing, negotiating with, and managing event suppliers
  • Excellent time management and multitasking ability
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to travel to events within Europe with possible international travel
  • Language excellent written and spoken English, German is a plus
