Senior GL Accountant

YOUR TASKS

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger for all company accounts, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with IFRS

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, including accruals, journal entries, and account analyses

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data flow and reporting

• Support internal and external audits, including preparation of schedules and documentation

• Drive continuous improvements in accounting processes, systems, and reporting efficiency

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred

• Proficient English + Good knowledge of German or experience with the German market

• Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience in GBS environmen

• Strong knowledge of IFRS standards

• Proficiency in SAP

• Advanced MS Excel skills and analytical capabilities

• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with high attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Experience in multinational or multi-entity accounting environments

• Strong project management skills and ability to lead process improvement initiatives
