We are looking for a Senior GIS Specialist to support the maintenance, optimisation, and further development of large-scale ESRI Enterprise GIS environments within a complex utility and asset management landscape.

You will join a multidisciplinary product team of IT and business specialists working on the continuous evolution of a GIS-centric asset management platform. The role combines GIS expertise, infrastructure management, automation, development, and operational support within enterprise-scale ESRI environments.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Maintain and improve ESRI Enterprise GIS systems
• 
  Monitor GIS environments and platform performance
• 
  Upgrade software and supporting server infrastructure
• 
  Deploy patches and manage application lifecycle updates
• 
  Automate application deployments and release processes
• 
  Perform technical analyses and propose improvements
• 
  Develop scripts and automation solutions using PowerShell and Python
• 
  Contribute to development tasks using .NET technologies
• 
  Support operational management and standard maintenance activities
• 
  Troubleshoot and resolve technical incidents affecting GIS applications
• 
  Work with SOAP and REST web interfaces and integrations
• 
  Collaborate closely with IT, infrastructure, and business teams

Required Experience & Skills

Minimum 5 years' experience with Geocortex and/or VertiGIS Studio products

Minimum 5 years' experience maintaining and improving ESRI Enterprise systems

Minimum 5 years' experience developing in .NET

Minimum 5 years' experience developing GIS systems

Minimum 5 years' experience with SOAP and REST web interfaces

Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills

Proactive, solution-oriented, and adaptable mindset

Dutch proficiency at CEFR C2 level

Nice to Have

• 
  Experience with OTAP release environments
• 
  Experience with IIS web server software
• 
  Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle and SQL
• 
  Experience working with Agile development methodologies
• 
  Experience with automated deployment and release management
• 
  Experience within enterprise-scale GIS environments
