Key responsibilities:
-To ensure all interactions with guests are personalized, professional, warm and welcoming.
-Respond to e-mails from guests and travel agents
-Liaise with housekeeping, butlers and waiters keeping them up to date with expected arrivals and other guest requests
-Knowledge of all rates, special offers , value adds and any special requests
-Liaise with guests to book airport shuttles and tours
-Monitor room availability
-Conduct site visits, book events and conferences
-Prompt processing of cancellations and modifications
Minimum requirements:
-Grade 12
-Diploma in hospitality management/tourism
-A minimum of 2-3 years of recent or current experience in a similar position.
-Exceptional English abilities- Written & Spoken
-Passionate, energetic, smart working team player with strong communication skills
-Well-presented candidate who is able to stay calm under pressure, meet deadlines and work accurately
-Stable work history
-Proficient MS Office skills
-Knowledge of a hotel management system(CRS) like OPERA and Semper etc. Will be an added advantage
-Excellent telephone etiquette
-Own transport, as this is a live out position
