We’re growing our Geotechnical & Tunnels team and are looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer / Engineering Geologist to support the delivery of technically challenging infrastructure projects.

This is an opportunity to step into a hands-on technical role while taking ownership of project deliverables, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to innovative solutions across Australia.

The Opportunity

You’ll play a key role in delivering geotechnical services across a broad range of infrastructure projects. With a strong foundation in soil and rock mechanics, you’ll lead investigations, analysis and design, while supporting projects from concept through to construction.

You’ll be part of a high-performing Geotechnical & Tunnels team delivering diverse and complex infrastructure projects, supported by global expertise and clear career pathways. What you’ll do

  • Lead and deliver geotechnical investigations including drilling, logging & testing
  • Interpret geotechnical, geological & hydrogeological data to inform design
  • Plan and manage small to mid-sized projects or key project components
  • Perform advanced analyses and develop practical, innovative solutions
  • Prepare high-quality technical reports, feasibility studies and proposals
  • Support multidisciplinary teams across complex infrastructure projects

About you

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology or similar
  • 5+ years’ commercial experience in geotechnical engineering or engineering geology
  • Strong experience in field investigations, including drilling, sampling and logging
  • Proven ability to analyse data and deliver practical geotechnical solutions
  • Experience preparing technical reports and communicating with clients
  • Passion for technical excellence, innovation and continuous improvement
