Senior Geotechnical Engineer

The Opportunity
In this role, you'll collaborate with some of Australia's most experienced geotechnical professionals and contribute to:

• Site investigations and ground characterisation
• Foundation and retention system design
• Soil-structure interaction and finite element modelling
• Slope stability, ground improvement, and working platform assessments
• Temporary works and construction phase support
• Project management and client engagement
• Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to technical leadership
• Report writing, both factual (e.g. site logs, test results) and interpretive (e.g. design recommendations, risk assessments)

What Were Looking For

• Degree in Civil Engineering (postgraduate qualification in Geotechnical Engineering preferred)
• Strong technical design experience (2D/3D FEM, slope stability, foundations)
• Proficiency in geotechnical software and spreadsheet-based analysis
• Skilled in interpreting lab and in-situ test data
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Full driver's licence
