Job Description

WiSC Enterprises is seeking an accomplished Senior Advisor with deep expertise in GEOINT standards, systems engineering, acquisition strategy, and research coordination. This role provides thought leadership and technical oversight across standards compliance, systems lifecycle assessments, R&D integration, and enterprise architecture development to support mission-critical programs.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as subject matter expert on GEOINT standards implementation, system interoperability, and compliance across enterprise engineering programs.
  • Provide technical input on acquisition strategy, systems engineering plans, test plans, and program documentation.
  • Lead assessments of systems and programs for conformance with standards, such as the DoD IT Standards Registry (DISR), to ensure NSG alignment.
  • Guide cross-agency teams in integrating advanced technologies (e.g., motion imagery, persistent surveillance, ABI) across R&D and operational programs.
  • Conduct strategic outreach, facilitate collaboration forums, and advise senior leadership on policy alignment, risk mitigation, and capability planning.
  • Support metadata development, records management systems, and continuity of operations planning (COOP) initiatives across the organization.
  • Evaluate portfolio-wide investment strategies and acquisition options to advance analytic capabilities and multi-domain GEOINT exploitation.

Required Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Strategic Intelligence, Political Science, or related field.
  • 10-15 years of experience in the defense or intelligence community with a focus on GEOINT standards, systems engineering, and acquisition policy.
  • Demonstrated leadership in systems assessment, ABI strategy development, and portfolio-level GEOINT capability planning.
  • Familiarity with JCIDS processes, COOP implementation, and enterprise policy development.
  • Extensive experience in organizational leadership, including Chief of Staff roles and director-level support across research and technical offices.
  • TS/SCI with POLY is required to start

Desired Qualifications

Desired Skills:

  • Certified Intelligence Community Officer or equivalent.
  • Training from institutions such as the Federal Executive Institute, Command & Staff College, or Combined Arms & Services Staff School.
  • Experience supporting joint community-wide initiatives related to motion imagery, ISR interoperability, and analytic tradecraft development.
  • Background in counterintelligence, personnel security policy, and multi-domain integration efforts.
