BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 6+ years of overall professional experience in software or machine learning engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of relevant, hands-on experience with Generative AI, including:
  • Building, optimizing, and deploying RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines.
  • In-depth experience with agentic frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex).
  • Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Qdrant, pgvector).
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and object-oriented design.
• Demonstrated experience with core AWS services for compute and deployment (e.g., EKS, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway).
• Strong understanding of API development (REST) and building microservices.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Deep, hands-on experience with the AWS AI/ML stack Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Kendra, and Amazon Textract
• Proven track record of building and deploying complex, multi-step AI orchestrations (agentic planners) that call multiple tools and external APIs.
• Experience in building custom AI/ML "skills" or models to handle domain-specific data analysis.
• Hands-on experience with MLOps and cloud infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, AWS Secrets Manager, and Amazon CloudWatch
• Familiarity with integrating AI systems with enterprise platforms (e.g., NetSuite, or similar).
• Experience working in an agile environment to deliver high-quality code and rapidly iterate on new, high-impact products.
