Senior General Trade Channel Executive

Location: Laos

About the Role

We are seeking a highly driven Senior General Trade Channel Executive to lead in-store execution excellence, trade visibility initiatives, and Perfect Store implementation across General Trade channels in Laos. This role is responsible for driving execution standards, enhancing retail presence, managing merchandising operations, and ensuring commercial priorities are effectively delivered in market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the deployment and governance of Perfect Store standards across all retail channels.
  • Develop execution guidelines and store standards aligned with channel and business strategies.
  • Monitor Perfect Store KPI performance and compliance through regular market audits and evaluations.
  • Manage the end-to-end planning, allocation, deployment, and tracking of Point-of-Sale Materials (POSM).
  • Ensure timely execution of visibility initiatives that support brand and category objectives.
  • Monitor POSM utilization and evaluate effectiveness in the trade environment.
  • Drive the execution of monthly commercial priorities across all channels.
  • Track execution performance through field visits, retail audits, and digital monitoring tools.
  • Ensure outlet compliance in terms of product availability, visibility, pricing, and promotional execution.
  • Collaborate closely with distributors to ensure consistent implementation of execution standards.
  • Manage merchandising agencies and other field execution partners to deliver business objectives.
  • Conduct coaching and capability-building programs for sales teams on Perfect Store principles and execution excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-6 years of experience in Sales Operations, Trade Marketing, Channel Development, or Commercial Execution within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong understanding of General Trade operations, Perfect Store concepts, and retail execution standards.
  • Proven experience managing POSM deployment, merchandising programs, and distributor partnerships.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience monitoring KPIs, retail audits, and execution performance metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including distributors, agencies, and field sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other reporting or sales tracking tools.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for market visits and field audits.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in multinational FMCG organizations.
  • Background in commercial excellence, sales capability development, or trade marketing.
  • Experience managing third-party merchandising agencies and field execution teams.
